Real Estate on the Web

  1. Oooh! This is funny and creepy all at once; I'm thinking it'll be fun for Halloween too! It's also funny how something my dad once said, "Location, location, location" is one of those phrases that just sticks in my head. That last line got me. Happy Poetry Friday!

  3. Wonders are everywhere, love that beginning and ending too! I just videoed a spider hanging for its life out my window. We all watched while it, and its web, hung on in a fierce wind! Great poem, Bridget!

    1. Thank you, Linda! Aren't spiders amazing? Sometimes you wonder what they were thinking about the location though...fierce winds don't sound fun. I'd love to see that video. = )

    1. Dear Doraine,
I'm trying to move, but the market is sluggish. Ooh, how about a slug for a neighbor? Careful what you wish for.
      xo, Mr. Spider

  9. Aw! I love the spider poem. Makes me think of Charlotte, one of my favorite literary arachnids. :-)

  10. At least you are honest by describing it as a "fixer upper." I believe my realtor mother-in-law calls that "opportunities for personalization." :-) Very clever and just right for the season!

  13. So clever! Sorry I am late to the party. I think this would be good for elementary school Poetry in the Halls (poems up in the hallways during National Poetry Month).
