Lunar Lateness

A whisper
of the moon lingers
on the blue sky while the sunrise
reveals the moon's delayed 
departure.

      Thank you, Linda! I am fascinated by the moon as is apparent by my continual quest to capture it in poetry (though not always successfully. =)
