Loads of politics going on here in Colorado! Governor and Senate races are going on. The media are getting rich with all the ads! You got it right, Bridget!
Oh man, I'm so sick of the attack ads already! In Florida, our corrupt and very wealthy governor appears to be buying the election yet again. Hoping he ends up with egg on his face, but I just don't know.
Thank you for taking the time to comment! Unfortunately Blogger has been known to eat some comments...sorry! If this happened to you, please email me direct: bridget@bridgetmagee.com. I promise I'll answer. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda! If only election season was shorter, but the end is in sight...Nov 4th! = )
DeleteBridget, this is absolutely delightful for the political scene.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carol! It's hard not to get jaundiced with some of those ads. = )
DeleteGreat! Do the naughty politicians eat poached eggs? ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, Catherine! Yes, poached eggs would be perfect for certain politicians! = )
DeletePerfect! And did you know it is International Egg Day?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane! I didn't know about International Egg Day, but I'm pleased with the happy coincidence. = )
DeleteExactly the way I feel about politics!
ReplyDeleteI know, right, Doraine? Makes you lose your appetite.
DeleteHah! Good one, Bridget. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jama! It was egg-cellent of you to comment. = )

ReplyDeleteThat's awful, Michelle! Some (most) politicians are scary individuals. Hopefully truth and ethics will prevail. = )
DeleteNo yolk, indeed, or too much. A golden-fried offering, Bridget!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heidi! I like the idea of golden-fried as opposed to egg in my eye. = )
DeleteI thought there would be egg-throwing before I clicked over. Glad to see that the eggs are sunny side up, even though politics can be so grim.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary Lee! Yes, I always try to see the "sunny side" of life, even if it's a bit jaundiced. = )
DeleteHA! Very clever.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Violet!
DeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ruth!
DeleteSigh -- true that. Hey -- this senryu might make a good "Golden Shovel" poem.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laura, sigh indeed. BTW I'm not familiar with a "Golden Shovel" poem - what's that?
