  2. Bridget, thanks for the prickly pair video and your Elfchen poems. I always wait for your humor to brighten my day. Your humor shows in your animated ,cartoon-like prickly pears and the shortened word choice you speak about. The pair remind me of my two little grands who pinch and poke each other and the baby. In face, one of them is staying for the weekend because her prickliness is popping everywhere.

    1. Thanks, Carol! Your grands (and children!) are so lucky to have you! Unconditional grandma love when one is feeling prickly is such a blessing. :)

  4. HAHAHA, you had me at "pri..."

I love a good Elfchen, and you REALLY have this form down, able to make that double handful of syllables plus one make a sense that sticks with me. Here's to persistence, when we deal with the prickly, and here's to remembering that it's a lonely way to be.

Also, here's to a little dance montage with Beyoncé as needed. ☺

  6. Yes! to Beyoncé, & I wish I could share the "prickles" poem with a class, might help a few to make some changes! Yes, to philosophical elfchens, too!

    1. Thanks, Linda! Those classroom prickly pals seem to work against their own best interest, don't they?

  10. Love the music! And, that first poem....oooof it hit me harder than I expected from a humorous poem post. Yes, lonely. Well done on that one. And, persistence to unconditionally is a wonderful path.

  13. I expected laughter all the way through but that first Elfchen caught me off guard. I've known some of those well-armored folks. Lonely indeed, but amazing what persistence and unconditional love can do. ❤️ Thanks, Bridget!
